Besides the picture on the Early Dutes page that may be George Dute the Immigrant, here are three other unidentified ones, which came from Lois. In the first, we know the one on the left is Wm. E. Dute, the son of August A. Dute. Valerie thinks that may be brother Homer in the center and brother Glenn on the right, but the one on the right may also be Bill's friend L. G. Miller. Lois agrees it's probably L. G. Miller.
On the next one, Valerie says: "The little guy... might be L.G. but he was just one year younger than Bill. That kid looks a lot younger than that. I think he has a very strong resemblance to Harold, son of Casper, the grocer. I have no birth date for him. The middle boy -- I don't know. There is not so much Dute resemblance about him, unless it is one of the Miller kids They didn't look as much like the Dutes as the Millers." E-mail, 30 Apr 2000.
The picture on the left may be my grandmother Ruth E. Dute, Valerie thinks. I don't think the resemblance is that close, but it's hard to say who else it would be.
